Bed question?

I was wondering if the floor supports were the same from a metal floored bed to a wooden floored bed or are they different? I have two good bedsides and a new front header panel to go on my wooden floored bed, but I also have a set of floor supports from a metal floored bed. I could assemble one and use the not so good one on another project.....Help me please.

Re: Bed question?

I am told they are not. The metal ones are supposedly taller to compensate for the difference in the thickness of the floors.

Since I went from a wood stepbed to a metal fleetbed I can't compare directly and on the metal bed they are welded to the bed floor.
