I'm going to re-clip the back of my frame (again!), and I have to make all new drivelines and such, so I'm just floating some ideas around.
Just wondering how hard it would be to either graft two cab sections together, or get a burb body and attach the truck back wall.....hmmmm

Re: crewcab pictures

Ha ha ha, sure there is an end, you will eventually die before you finish it right?

I have been looking at a few pictures I found, and it looks like it wouldn't be too bad, except for the rear doors. I think I'm going to just keep it a reg cab longbed!

Re: crewcab pictures

There were some CL listings that were posted here a few weeks ago...I think they were For Sale down south or something...they listed crew-cabs and stretched Burbans as well

Awesome, that is just what I am looking for! I wasn't sure how they did the roofline bump, or what the inner b pillar looks like.

Re: crewcab pictures

Thanks so much for the help guys, that interior cab picture is exactly what I was after. I'm going to keep an eye out for a second cab, and go to my shop later to take some measurements. I'm thinking suicide doors may be the way to go on the back, it would open like a 60's Lincoln Continental, so that way I wont have to worry about the b piller supporting the rear doors.
Hmmmmmm.........This is going to take some serious thought!

Re: crewcab pictures

I am going to do more of the extended cab idea and use the rear doors as my b piller so when they are open it will be one big opening

Re: crewcab pictures

I just got back from my shop and took a more detailed look at how the doors operate. It looks like I might actually be able to swing the rear doors off of the b piller(now the rear area of the cab), but I am really just going to have to get another donor cab to make it all work correctly. I figure if I can have both side by side, I can plan how to reconstruct the rear doors and opening to work correctly. I noticed in the pictures above how on the 60-63 body style crew cab, it has recessed rear door hinges, while the 64-66 does not. Thanks alot to everyone who has posted! Anyone have any info on who made these trucks, or was it directly through the factory?

I thought the two tone paint started at the bottom story of the window opening.

1960 and 1961 only had a unique tu tone paint scheme. From 1962 to 1966, just the roof and back of cab was white.
