Factory Bench Seat
Were the bench seat tracks the exact same from '67-'72? And does anyone have a good pic of a factory bench seat? This guy says he has a seat for a 67-72, I just wanna make sure I don't end up w/a seat from a different year.

Re: Factory Bench Seat
Riveted1, I no longer have my original stock bench seat since re-building the truck but it was my understanding the early 67 & 68 seats would fold forward for access behind the seat. Later years 69 and forward were solid frame with no hinge point. My brother-in-law's 68 GMC folded forward I know but my '71 original seat did not. Others members may chime in with more info. Hope that helps.

Re: Factory Bench Seat
Look at the pics in the LMC catalog to get an idea of what they look like.

Re: Factory Bench Seat
Thanks guys, that is some good info. It would definitely be nice to fold the seat forward... And I can't believe I didn't think to look in my LMC catalog

Re: Factory Bench Seat
Could never hurt for future reference! I passed on the bench I was thinking about getting, just b/c I need some other parts more than I need a new seat. But pics would be great for my reference file!
