steering column
Can anyone tell me what color the 'plan jane' 1967 C10s steering column was. I am planning to rebuild mine and want to include a paint job. It is painted the color of the truck now but the truck has been repainted. Were the columns flat black, gloss black, or the color of the vehicle origanally? How about the color of the steering wheel? Thanks.

Re: steering column
It is my understanding that if its a Tilt its Black only, all others are the color of the truck.

Re: steering column
a lot of 67's were a fawn (similar to pewter color) inside the whole truck and so was the column.
Most of the 60 to 66's trucks I see are this fawn color inside and I think 67 was a carry over, dont see that many 68's that way.
