Transmission Crossmember Qustion
I have seen alot of discussion about the different tranny cross members, and something just occured to me today when I was under my truck today.
With the I6 and 3 speed manual, is there a cross member under the tranny? Mine looks like it has a place for a mount on the rear portion of the tranny, but it is not in use...nor does it look like there ever was one in this truck. I see plenty of holes to mount them in the frame, but there is nothing under the tranyy.

Somebody correct me if I'm wrong, I don't think a tran c/m is used on a 3 or 4- speed. My 69 came with a 307, 3- speed no c/m on it.The frames come with holes so any trans could be installed on the line when built.
