Questions About Lowering 73-87 Trucks......
I have noticed that nobody seems to sell or use 5" Front and 7" Rear lowering kits for 73-87 Chevy/GMC 1/2 Ton anymore. I see 5-5, but no 5-7. It seems to me that lowering the truck the same front and back would only create a raked look. On some vehicles this works in my opinion, but not on these trucks.
If someone reads this and has lowered their 73-87 truck, please tell me how you did it and if possible include a pic PLEASE! I don't want to buy a kit only to be dissatisfied with it! |

![]() ![]() this pic is with the same size tires (255/60/15) front and rear so it sits level. there are more pics in the link in my sig some of them were just after i lowered it and it had shorter tires on the front so it was raked.
