Exclamation Top Secret High Gear Hot Rods '68 Build Photo. You Have to see This!!

My good friend Rodney Payne who many of you may or may not know is building this '68 Chevy truck and just finished the steel work and sent me a great photo. He told me I could show it and I cannot resist! We will be covering the 70 step Chop Top in the March issue of SUPER ROD which will be a full issue of Trucks.

This is it. Check out more of the truck on

Wish that small block would stop spinning so I could check out the injection system, I'll go back and see the truck this time. Really looks like a lot of craftmenship... J.

Fantastic pickup wish it was in my stable. It sure looks like a 68 pretending to be a 67 though.

That truck is SWEET!! I am not big on the wheels, but the rest is really cool!! I love the fact they shaved the drip rail on the windshield but not over the doors. I would love to see a close up of that area to see the transition as I want to do that to my project, but couldn't picture it and didn't want to start it and not like the outcome

Re: Top Secret High Gear Hot Rods '68 Build Photo. You Have to see This!!

i can't put my finger on it. maybe it's the chop, or maybe it's the angle of the pic, but has something been done to the front clip? seems longer and more crisp. either way, i'm really diggin' that truck.

or maybe i need more sleep...

Couldn't find pricing, what would you guess for inj. setup for the street?
And what would those tanks be for in the front of the cylinder heads? oil?

Oh, BTW just checked out your site, looks like a new mag. to buy.
