TBI swap

Well my buddies 87 truck got rear ended and the driver didn't have insurance, so it has been sitting out at my parents for a few months and he told me the other day I could just have it. It has the 350 tbi and new transmission a couple years ago. I think I might try to swap the front crossmember to get discs and put the motor and transmission in the old 69 over christmas. I'll probably have a few questions if I can't find everything in the old posts. The radiator is new also, will that fit in a 69?

Re: TBI swap

Here is the donor truck. The frame still looks good. It looks like the spring shackle and spring just got ripped off.

I can see your point of view, but I believe I'd do the tbi swap.

Re: TBI swap

Here is the truck I would put it in. It is just going to be my truck to take to home depot and drive to work every now and then.

Re: TBI swap

Not to get off the subject but what size and brand are the wide whites on your truck. That is exactly what I am looking for but Am having a hard time with metric sizes and needed to see them on a truck. And yes I would do the tbi swap. Thanks for the help.
