1968 Chevy Steering Column 3spd manual...great cond DFW.
We took this out of Bill's 68 Panel last week. I have two different shift levers for it one long, one short [sorry no pic but both are in good shape]. The steering wheel is in very good shape as is the column in general. It has not been shortened, but I can do that for you if you like. The column is complete and needs nothing to be installed. About the only thing not in excellent shape is the horn button, but it's not too bad.
$65 local pickup. I will ship, but it will have to ship in two boxes and it might cost a bit.

$50 if it's by itself. Shipping to your place would run about $35.
I can hold it prepaid until January if need be, it's really not in the way, but I can ship the whole thing for $42 to Austin.

If efabman passes, I'll take it.
I would love some idea of total with shipping to 78759 residential. Or if it could sit for a while, I'll be in Dallas in early January.

Once efabman decides, I'll take what he doesn't.
After that point, PM an address and let me know if you want a check in the mail, paypal or postal money order.

Can you check shipping to 28027 and also, what shape is the shifting lever in? Did it seem snug or was it on the loose side? I have 2 columns so worn and sloppy they're junk.....

The shift lever was already off when I got it and I never tested it. I have two shift levers on the shop wall, but no pins. My friend never had any trouble shifting it, but I will try and get it tested tomorrow.
Shipipng to you would be $37.21 for the column only.

I'll take it. I have to run to Ft. Worth and Dallas soon. I'll get with you on a decent pickup date.
Just for my information, the threads of the steering shaft, holding the steering wheel to the shaft) are in good shape, aren't they? And the rubber ring holding the horn ring in place? Is it in good shape? Those are the two parts I am most in need of. But that wheel looks like it is in great shape, so I'm looking forward to seeing that thing all shined up in my ride.

I haven't had the wheel off yet and I have reason to believe it has never been off....I think the rubber is in pretty good shape though.

Sounds great. Just let me know how you want me to send over my wife's money.
