from everybodys experiance where is the best place to get a lift kit for an 83 2500 4x4

It really depends on what brand you want to get. As shocking as it may seem, JC Whitney carries many brands of lift kits for these trucks and usually has the best pricing that includes free shipping. Otherwise you can look at local off road shops or some of the vendors in the off road magazines.
