Black Bagged Chevy 71

This being first tread and Post. Would like to being by say thanks to all that make the site possible. History behind the build. The truck was a daily driver for about a one year "2002". Had 20", V8, Automatic, Loud Sound System everything a young teen could want. It was a short lived experience before being stolen. After months of searching found the truck being driven on the other side of town. Person driving the truck had a title for the truck calmed it was his truck, I had proof vin number was switched. (frame didn’t match cab) End result got the truck back.

Plans for the build (KP's Bolt-On 4 Link And Cantilever, Porterbuilt front end, motor a 6.0 with 4L60e, 22", AC, Black Bagged Shaved. Photos below show years of neglect.

Re: Black Bagged Chevy 71

First photos show how measurments were put on plotter paper first. Then built the dolly up side down. Used a piece a wood on the backside to get a (1 1/2") so the cab would be level. Front mounts are lower than the back. As for the welds - (never claimed to certified welder). Will get measurment that I used on here soon.

Had enough family members over the weekend to help carry the bed off the frame along with the front clip. Decided to get rid of some other stuff while I had the help. Girlfriend likes to call some of it junk.

Hoping to get the cab on the dolly before Sunday. Plans are to start shaving the firewall while I wait to sell the CTS for suspension funds. (PorterBuilt & KP's Cantilever Rear Kit)
