That looks real nice. Can I ask what the cost was to blast and powder coat the parts you had done?

Re: Wooo Hooo! Frame and suspension are back from powder coat!
John,
No, not twins but we get that a lot. I'm in the gray shirt and the guy in the white shirt is my "little" (6' 4", 240 lbs) brother...5 years younger. Bishop, Cost was $350 U.S. for the bare frame. I had a bunch of other stuff done as well...crossmembers, control arms, rear axle, spings, front spindles, and some misc. small parts. Total was $950 including degreasing, blasting, and coating. Blasting Specialties and Powder Coating in Commerce, CA (www.blastingspecialtiesandpowdercoating.com) did the work. They were a bit slow (three weeks vs. one week quoted) but I'm not in a hurry and everything came out great. Mike

Hey Bishop,
It's going to be a long tow from Vienna, not to mention the expensive trailer rental!! Mike

Re: Wooo Hooo! Frame and suspension are back from powder coat!
I have 2 trucks and a car sitting in Virginia waiting for me to get back. 20 months to go and I'll get back on my projects. Seeing projects like yours and others on this site come together is what keeps me from getting rid of my project truck. Keep me posted on your progress so my fires keep burning.

Re: Wooo Hooo! Frame and suspension are back from powder coat!
Hey Rick,
The first year and a half went pretty quick. The way I see it, I have 1 summer left without tinkering with my toys. I'll be home in July of 2009 so I will have that summer to drive my Z/28 and get back on my Yenko Truck Project.

Frame looks nice, my first thoughts as well were, "twins", haha. Good luck on the rest of the build.
