Cheyenne Super Manual throttle question - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

Does anyone know or have pics of an original 71-72 truck with the woodgrain dash AND manual throttle? I want to know if the plastic "throttle" emblem (that goes below the chrome nut) would have originally been black or woodgrain color like the dash.

I don`t have my truck anymore,but I`m about certain it was black.Maybe someone will have better proof.

My truck had one ('72 Super). The emblem was black.

I thought I had a pic of mine but couldn't find it. I think it's black also but I'll look and let you know if it's not.

The one on mine is black but the bezel is black also.
