Brake Lines
i searched the forum but to no avail -
what size (dia.) tubing is on my 67 - i have swaped to discs. it is a bare frame that i am trying to button-up and i need to know what size tubing to order thanks in advanced |

I would order the kit for a 71 truck. The front lines will exit to the front like 71 but if you swapped front crossmember brackets are already there and the 71 frame exits the rear line in the same general location as the earlier years. 72 crosses the line at the rear crossmember instead of before the member like 71. Be sure that you have the correct prop. valve - all of this is based off of short 2wd, if you have switched to 3/4 booster/mc then the top lines are routed differently etc. Hope this helps. If you can't find anything else bend up a set to fit your application. Remember with brake lines small is better than big- pressure vs volume.

thanks - i just got off the phone with classic tube and inline tube - both great companies
87 front crossmember in the swb 67 means no real kit off the shelf i am doing the custom route - i will use 3/16" with a 1/4" connector between front and rear which is like stock |
