Spindles won't turn

I just installed new upper and lower control arms on my 70. I put the new spindle on the drivers side and it won't hardly turn to the left before it hits the stop. Any ideas? I'll try to get pics of it posted tomorrow night before i get a

Is your suspension hanging? I think that can make a considerable difference. Jack up the suspension so it's closer to ride height and try to turn it then.

Yes, put the jack under the lower control arm and jack up until the lower arm starts to raise the truck. That should make it turn. If not, check where the spindle meets onto the ball joints and see if any part of the spindle is hitting the upper or lower control arms. This happened to me and 70c10 when we installed drop spindles. We had to grind away a little extra metal on the lower ball joint flanges of the spindles to clear the control arms.

Also, make sure your ball joints are in good shape.
