500 caddy for the Burb
well I finally did, pulled a 500 out of a '71 eldorado today. Checked the crank and confirmed that it is indeed a 500. I will be sending it off to Jasper to have it remanufactured (through a buddy who owes me). I will be checking this site and the caddy site for hints on what manifold, heads and carb to put on it. Anyone with ideas? Basically I send in my specs.
all this for the '72 Burb. 500 ci, t400, 14 bolt corp. 3.73 rear and eventually gear vendors I'm downloading some picks of a amazing collection. This is where I store my truck off season, the owner owns all but 7, over two hundred cars. I get to use his shop, break for lunch and wander around with a chu*by

Mark, this is the I was talking about awhile back. It's a Merc Turnpike Cruiser, absolutely beautiful. has a lincon motor, rear window is power. Check out the chrome on the roof corners

Re: 500 caddy for the Burb
That is one heck of a garage!
MegaSquirt EFI; cost less than some carbs, and takes 1000 times more setup...
