Recoloring seats?
I have a set of good cloth seats for the truck. They are the wrong color [aren't they always?].
What are you guys using to make them a different color? Seems like there are many, many brands out there... your favorite? I want to do them two-toned Black and Blue using masking tape to separate the colors... am I asking for trouble or would I be better off with a single color? Thanks!

Re: Recoloring seats?
I have used Marhyde to paint seats...it usually fades or wears off. It also stinks up the cab. You can always find a market for a good used cover and then purchase what you want from Frank (PICKMUP).

Re: Recoloring seats?
I agree with the others, you probably won't have good luck dying the seat. I have dyed other parts of the interior with luck, but they have been parts you don't regularly touch. I haven't found anything that won't wear off of seats. I have used Marhyde, Plasticote, and Duplicolor vinyl dye and fabric dye, and they are all about the same.
