New member Tony from Dallas
Hello everyone, I have a 67 step side that my son and I are working on and have we have a question.
How hard is it to drop the truck 2" in front and 3" in the rear? Is it a simple coil spring conversion, and if so, is there a site that gives detail directions for the DIY minded? Thanks Tony |

Re: New member Tony from Dallas
First off.... to the board from Mid-MO!!!
Secondly, as far as dropping your truck, I would turn toward ECE (Early Classic Enterprises). They put together one great kit, for a decent price. Call out and talk with anyone of the guys and they will be sure to hook you up. ECE offers a great static drop kit (spindles/springs), along with stance photos of different drops on the same vehicle, so be sure to check that out. ECE also offers many other parts geared towards the 67-72 Chevy/GMC trucks. In my future plans, I'm going to pickup the 4/6 drop kit that they offer. Thirdly, refer to either the 67-72 board, or the suspension board, that can be found within this board. Finally, again, welcome to the board, and what a great father/son project. You can ask any question on the board, truck related or not, and you are sure to get a response. Good luck with the build!

Re: New member Tony from Dallas
Welcome from Corpus Christi, and in the 67-72 forum you will find exactally what you are looking for, the best meathod I have come accross is to use 2" drop spinles in the front, and drop springs in the rear.
