Hey, Jim; lookin' Good! How's the firewall rust coming?

Folks, that bed, shell, and rear frame are the trailer that I salvaged from my '67 when it got wrecked (see "Requiem for a '67 SWB" WAY down the list in this forum).

I got the LWB rear frame and Step bed pictured here; the bed is now on my '69 K-10; the old fleet bed is now on the frame as a trailer.

Pics as soon as I can get them developed.

Hey palallin hows it going, I have not decided what to do about the firewall yet. I need to find somebody with a mig welder to tackle that job. The truck looks pretty good with it together I still need to finish the frame and instal the new cab mounts. After that I will turn the truck around and get it ready for the caddy motor. I found a '76 elderado for $700 that will be the next big project for the fab man. Jim

Looks like nice work on that frame.

Who's your little helper lurking around there?

Jim, All I gotta say is that you're the only man I know who's got to keep his Father-in-law happier than his wife

I will say this before God, the Board, and Everything, though: that Clyde can weld.

BTW, Beware: that Caddy motor will make it a LOT harder to get up that driveway: you'll never keep the wheels from spinning if you give it any gas at all. What a problem to have!

Well Tom that is my son Tyler getting some tools out of the box. He is my little helper, he brakes it I fix it. I guess thats how it goes though.

Yeah that Clyde can weld and I do keep him happy. Clyde seems to like working on the truck. It gives him a challege from his normal routine at work. So I couldn't think of anybody better to have than him for the caddy swap. As far as the hill goes I think I will park at the bottom instead.

Thanks for the comments Jim
