I know I'm not alone......who else on here has a spouse that does nothing but B.I.T.C.H about your truck?....I hear it at least 3 times a week.

She doesn't really ***** about the truck, but she does carry on about how much time I spend on it. She gives me crap about the fact that it's an old truck. She hums the Sanford & Son theme song every once in a while, in which of course I correct her by telling her that was a different era of truck...
No, she's wondering right now when she gets her husband back from all of the trips out to my dad's to work on the truck.

I hear this one with both ears. Like COBALT said, it's more a time issue than anything. But I get anxious and have to finish it ASAP. I doubt she'll complain when I take the same approach to our bathroom remodel . . .
Not to mention my interaction with my truck is more predictable, if you know what I mean.

My wife asked me, "You think more of that truck than you do me".
I said, no, not more. But the truck stays.

Ha! Yeah, my wife recently said I "Abandoned" her for the truck. I didn't mention that she could come out with me on the weekends, but for some reason I doubt that would help the conversation.

Mine is neutral....Like most of you said it's a time thing... her biggest thing is she doesn't understand why I care top drive the old beat up UGLY truck. She like old cars, but just doesn't get that I don't care what it looks like...I want something to tinker with. Looks will come...but even if they don't I can play.
But I'm starting new with this with this wife..soooo...the conversations do tend to go...what you doing this week end...the truck again? She does help once in a while...mostly because my son wants to be there. Right now though to ride in it to here is...

Guess i should consider myself lucky mine enjoys swapmeets, carshows, and would rather drive my truck to work than her Nissan she did for a while but 60 miles each way at 9 mpg sucked, her 27 is much better.shes begging to get rid of her truck and drive the Blazer.but it wont be much better it has a .030 402 with some goodies, and 3.42 gears,so it wont be much better besides i want to drive with the top off,and smoke vettes, when i hit the NOS switch.

I guess I am the lucky one of the bunch. My wife *****es when I don't spend enough time working on the truck. I once threatened to sell it since I wanted a 4wd instead, I am now in the midst of a conversion to a swb K20 with a bigblock and OD trans. I was informed that she would leave before the ink was dry on the title if it was sold. Something about her dad having the 1941 Pontiac that was their honeymoon vehicle, and now she wants to carry on this tradition.

I guess im one of the lucky ones also. Shes been giving her input on wheel selection and paint color. Also, my next project after the truck is done will be a first generation Camaro. She loves these and cant wait to have one.
Hmmmm...... Maybe that's why she wants the truck to be finished Oh well.. I cant wait for the camaro either!!

My brother in law catches it for any hobbies he starts, which is kind of a bummer for him. On the other hand, my wife had some stock options she'd gotten from her company, when she sold them she came home with an envelope and said here's your new engine. And she's been saving money for the paint job when the 4x4 is done, she says it shouldn't be primer gray forever. These women are sisters!!! Glad I got to pick first!!!!

My wife knows damn well if it's not the truck it'll be something even more expensive or time consuming, at least with my truck she knows where I'm at. The best thing is she has no desire to tag along and help (no,no you go ahead, I'll see you when you get back)

Mine is very agreeable but it helps that I got her an anniversary gift to cruise herself. The only problem is I find myself spending time with it and negelicting my truck.

My girl loves my truck (in fact thats why she fell in love with me minus the hair) My grandparents on the other hand never shut up about it, always asking why i even put money into the jellopy. Frankly its getting quite annoying, now they are telling me to get a damn haircut too!

My wife talked me into buying my truck. I was too cheap. She isn't wild about me spending the amount of time I would spend on it, but she did spend all weekend outside helping me put siding on my new barn. Wouldn't trade her for anything.

My wife has her own coveralls and safty glasses for wen I ask her to help with something on the truck. She never minds helping with anything. She can even rebuild a Q-Jet on the kitchen table with just a little help. She never complaines about going to car shows nomater how hot or cold it is outside or how far away it is. The only thing she complaines about is the truck doesnt have air bags. I love my wife not my truck.
