Uh oh. I shouldn't be looking, but..

I'm not sure what I want to do right now. I haven't even got my short stepside parts truck home to do the conversion on my truck yet, and I'm already looking at other possibilities. I wouldn't mind looking at this truck, but I feel like I should stick to my original plan of changing my truck over to a short bed. We don't have our SUV anymore, so driving out on the beach and up in the hills is not much of an option for us anymore. Whatever I have will also need to haul our 16' travel trailer around with no problems either. Certainly no need for a 4WD there, but I would like to have one. But I would like to have my truck shortened too. I couldn't have both, so I would have to decide what I really want to do.

Thoughts/opinions??!

This is definitely an option if it hasn't sold yet.

I would buy it, you can always save up the money to work on your current truck, that looks like a great deal, but you'd better buy it quick now that you posted it on here

good luck

That's kinda what I was hoping. Then I wouldn't need to make up my mind on what I want to do.

Logically, I should head out the door as soon as my wife gets home with the $2,200 she's taking out of the bank on the way home and go meet this guy when his wife gets home with that truck. She drove it to work today because of the slick roads this morning.

My gut feeling tells me to build a fire in the woodstove and stay in for the night..

I'm realizing that my 12 yo daughter seems to know best when it comes to things like this. She made a face when she looked at the pics on CL. She loves my brothers lifted 72, but after showing her my vision for my current truck, she seems to like it better than the other one.

I thought maybe this would be a money maker also, but my track record has always proven that I buy high and sell low... Aye maye not b ah smaught mon..!

Finally went and looked at it. Lot's of rust and not a single straight panel. Actually, the hood and tailgate looked alright and it certainly would be worth putting the work into, but I'm gunna pass. I would jump on it if I had the money to take it to the next level and really needed a 4wd. He had a swb for him and a lwb for her which were really nice. I hope the 4X gets a good home and the love that it deserves!
