Another Dropmember member!
I feel I have to apologize. This project is taking much longer than I had ever anticipated.
And I never take photos. There has got to be something wrong with me. Anyhow, here is how she looks right now. I have to rave about Nat's (Porterbuilt) Dropmember. It is one of the best engineered components I have ever installed. We have Z-ed frames, sectioned crossmembers and installed Mustang II set ups and they all end up looking and functioning like an afterthought. If you ever consider a crossmember solution the choice is simple. DROPMEMBER! Besides, Nat's a hell of a nice guy. This endorsement is simply an attempt by me to show I am not a total lazy ass and to reclaim some type of respect for myself. Any resemblance of bribery, blackmail or payola is purely coincidental. Some of the trademarks mentioned in this product appear for identification purposes only. All models over 18 years of age. Use only as directed.

Re: Another Dropmember member!
Sweet truck just got SWEETER! I think I remember you saying you were running 18x8's up front with a 5.25" BS. Does this BS work well with the dropmember? Or would you change anything?

Re: Another Dropmember member!
That's awesome. I like that the dropmember was able to accomodate the wooden park brake you use, too.

Re: Another Dropmember member!
Those are AR wheels, and I "think" he said the rear was narrowed.

Re: Another Dropmember member!
Thanx guys for the compliments!
Damn Lolife99, you have a good memory. They do set in with the dropmember but it is kinda cool. I can turn lock to lock even with the truck sitting on the ground! Sorry BadBusa, When I pull the motor again I'll try and take a few pics then. Yeah Nat, it's been a little over a year now. But believe it or not I have been working on the 77 all day today and right now I'm taking a short break for a bite to eat and a little Barrett-Jackson then it's back to the shop for more fun. Ok Jon, I can tell you're jealous. I build you a set of Billet cedar parking brakes and drop them off at Scotts shop. Smashing The rear is a narrowed 9" I always liked a deep wheel on the rear of anything. Fronts are 8x18 5.25 bs rears are 10x20 4" bs. tires are 245/40/18 rears are 295/40/20 Ken I see you're on line right now ..... probably bored.....come over and help me put my bed on!

Thanks Ben, I told the wife to just keep the camera out in the shop. Lets see if I remember to use it.
Damn Dino, I thought you were done with that 78. Now is my chance to catch up to you.........stop working on it for a year or two and I may have a chance!

Real Nice Progress, 7T7.
You should show some before pics to show the folks how far 'backwards' you went to get where you are 'today'. Looking good.
