Wiper Nut - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

The nut that you attatch to the wiper motor for the wiper arms... what kind of nut is it. I guess the guy who painted my truck took it off and then didn't put the nut back on when he put the arms back on.

Its a spring steel retention clip avaible through GM, some parts stores and us.

Went to NAPA and local GM Dealer and they didn't seem to have it. I explained it was under the cowl piece and connected the wiper motor shaft to those arms.
COULD SOMEONE PLEASE POST A PIC OF THE PIECE AND MAYBE I CAN FIND ONE.

I got the clip comeing from Bill. Temporarily fixed it for the next 2 days of rain with a nut.
