turlock swap next weekend
how many of you are going to be there next weekend (jan 26-27). my brother has an entire row of spaces (short row, 8 or 10 spaces) but i haven't gone in several years. I used to go every year starting in the late 70s and he's had spaces there forever. it's a packed house and i've found some nice stuff over the years. if you go, post some pics of your "finds".

Re: turlock swap next weekend
I'm going, parking the truck in the for sale area so I don't have to haul anything I buy out to the parking lot
Ya know, the older you get the more you will pay to skip out on manual labor

Re: turlock swap next weekend
I would have liked to go, but I have to work and it is a bit of a drive since I moved. There are not alot of swap meets in the Marin and Sonoma county areas.

Re: turlock swap next weekend
i had to work today also, maybe the next few weekends too. one of the guys from our second shop is having some serious medical issues and they needed me to do dual exhaust on a 66 chevelle SS396 (sweet car)and an '06 colorado, plus some brakes on a F-250, turned a few sets of 'walk-in' rotors. not too bad for 6 hours work i guess.
my boss wants me to cover for him til he comes back--if he's able to come back. probably won't be able to go unless i make it sunday.

Re: turlock swap next weekend
When I lived in Turlock, I would go. I am a half hour south now, but don't go anymore for the over-inflated prices people think their crap is worth. That may have changed though, and knowing some people from the board will be there, I will head in this year to see if any Bargains are to be had.
Very few level headed people at that swap last time I was there. Swap at Goodguys show has better prices.

Re: turlock swap next weekend
I'm hoping to make it over. Right now it doesn't look like there should be anything preventing me from going.

My buddy & I are planning on it.
Maybe a mutual friend of ours & my cousin, too. Let's hope for dry weather.

Re: turlock swap next weekend
Stanislaus County Fairgrounds. Saturday(26) and Sunday(27) 7:00-4:00 or so. From Freeway 99 exit Fulkworth (in Turlock) east towards fairgrounds. Costs about 5 bucks to get in.
