VEGAS happenings?
Well fellas, I'm headed to Vegas for a week.
The story is, my sister is the current Miss Massachusetts, so the whole family and about 45 other people from mass are headed down there to watch. Hopefully she does well. BUT....my dad, uncle, cousin, brother, and I are looking for some truck/hotrod type stuff to do. We're going to check out the cars on top of Imperial Palace and maybe the Laughlin Desert Challenge. So West Coasters, know of anything good happening from the 22nd to the 27th? Brad

Re: VEGAS happenings?
You can't just boast about your sister winning the beauty contest and not post a picture of her! I'm pretty sure thats against the rules here.

Re: VEGAS happenings?
I'm planning on going to a place called the gun store in Vegas when we're down for the nascar race end of Feb, apperantly they have a wide variety of firearms (some full auto) you can fire for a fee. Sounds like fun, be sure to let us know if you go there; I'm going with a buddy who heard about the place, but he's never been there. Looking forward to that, although I can't decide which rifle would be the best to fire on full auto, but I think I'll also try out a Glock handgun or a Sig-Sauer. Anyone else ever gone to this place?

Re: VEGAS happenings?
Go check out the speedway and take a stock car out on the track. You can go to the Shelby shop that's there also.If you want to see truck parts ,go to Tuckers classic pickup parts.

Re: VEGAS happenings?
I agree with the other Shelby recomendations. It's a cool stop. It's not going to take hours to go through, but it's pretty neat none-the-less.

Re: VEGAS happenings?
1st, to Vegas. 2nd, keep the women & children together (don't let any of them stray off alone) & 3rd, don't let anyone drink and then gamble, it's a sure fired method of emptying the wallet. That's why the casinos give out the booze for free.
Here are a couple of links to check out: http://www.lasvegas.com/traveltips/ http://www.lvol.com/lvoleg/lvshows.html http://www.harrahs.com/casinos/imper...ns-detail.html http://www.lvms.com/ http://www.tuckersparts.com/www.tuck...parts.com.html http://www.redrockcanyonlv.org/ http://lakemead.areaparks.com/ http://www.hikinglasvegas.com/MtCharleston.html That will get ya started. to the sister, have and BE SAFE. It's a jungle out there!
