3/4 ton same body as 1/2 ton?
Sorry if there is an obvious answer to this post, I am new to the truck / Chevy game so please forgive me. I have a lead on a 1975 3/4 ton front for my 1981 C10. Was the 3/4 ton a larger truck or just a stronger chassis? Basically - will this work? If not, can I use the tilt column or other interior parts out of it?

the parts will interchange suspension is different but the rest will interchange. you will need to swap the wiper cowl and wiper parts tho and if you swap the nose and if you use the newer radiator support you will need to use the newer mounts/bushings

Thanks for the reply-
So I will need to pull the wipers and cowl, but use my current mounting bushings or grab those too? |

Re: 3/4 ton same body as 1/2 ton?
the reason you will have to change the wiper cowl and parts is because of going from an 80's model truck to the 70's version, not because of the 1/2T to 3/4T difference. Just wanted to clear that up as it might confuse a few.
