Get out and drive the truck this summer and have some fun!
It sucks not being able to hear!

LWB trucks rule, if you don't think so measure your SWB!
After talking to tech support at Air Lift I have found out that the kit I need is 60811. Per the measurements I gave them. Ride height of truck inside spring and inside diameter of springs.

GNRS grand national roadster show in Pomona Ca. was great to see a car show not full of tri five chevys and hordes or chevelles an camaros. dont get me wrong thier cool cars. but you only really need one or 2 examples of them in any given show...not 30!!..

That's from a Camaro guy! I usually take my obligatory peek and then go to the more unusual and interesting cars.

Yeah - the 572 is sweet for a turn key motor --- those valve covers (and ones that just say "Chevrolet" or "Chevrolet racing" can be had for about 300 clams though if you want to Walter Mitty your 396 or 454 though !!

Re: GNR'S suckas...pics.

I was there and saw a lot of great looking vehicles. I was disappointed that there were only 3 67-72 truks entered. I was there Friday and did'nt see any outside of the buldings either.

They were all very nice, the Blazer is not really my taste.

There is a signed picture of that first one at the Brake and Alignment shop I take mine to. I guess he's from my local area. Nice chunk of change there.

Re: GNR'S suckas...pics.

That first blue and white one is stunning. If I only had a million dollars.......I might be able to buy some time to work on my truck and get it looking half as good.

They are all nice, but what a waste of a Nailhead Buick Motor - they belong in HotRods or Buicks, not '67-'72 Trucks

Re: GNR'S suckas...pics.

572's are only 12k, take your stimulous money to a bank, rob said bank and then buy the 572!! Or get a Dart block and build your own 572 for about half of GM's price!
