Power brake pushrod hole in firewall-which grommet
I did a search but still not sure who carries this part... It is the hole where the pushrod for the brake pedal goes through the firewall. I converted both of my trucks and now I need the grommet.
Someone mentioned that they had ordered one and was on back order for 6 months so not sure if it is available or if it is the right one. Any help appreciated... |

GMC Pauls has them, that's where I got mine from. Any of the other board vendors should have them also.

Re: Power brake pushrod hole in firewall-which grommet
Thanks for input. But just to make sure we're talking about the right part, I'm including a borrowed pic I found on the search. Also, if I go to the vendors, what do they call it? I can't locate it by doing a grommet/boot search.
I ordered one many years ago and was sent the one that goes on the back of the booster. Then I ordered again and was sent the one that goes on the master cylinder. So I still have the hole. |

Okay, I think I found it. GMC Paul's doesn't have a search function but I looked at brakes and he has a good description of what I need. If anyone else is looking for one here's the location.
