Bought another one
I usually buy 67-72s since they are more my style but I've got me a 79 K10 too and I've had it longer than any of my current 67-72s so it has some of my respect. It has the original 350 with well over 200,000 miles on it.I've been wanting to put a big block in it and now I am.I bought a 73-87 truck for once.I don't know much about it right now except it's a late 70s chevy. It's a 2wd though and those aren't my thing so after I pull the motor and tranny and what else it may have saveable it's going to be scrapped. The motor is a running 454.I don't know if it has a auto tranny or the SM465.I bought it for $150.Should pick it up this week or next weekend so no pics till then. Now I've got to look for a turbo 400/NP205 to put in it...and put in the new front lift springs since the big block will weigh it down..and I'll probably put 3/4 ton running gear under it too.Like I don't have enough projects already..

Re: Bought another one
Well, the truck is home..the camera just has dead batteries.Best $150 I've ever spent. It's an 84 C20.454 and sm465 4 speed. It's red,not in too bad of shape especially for the price. The inner fenders are rusty and the cab corners are,but that's it.It has a nice flatbed on it.I'll try to get some pics of it tomorrow...The big block will be going in my 79 that will be getting a one ton drivetrain and I'm going to put in a small block and re-sell it.
