New Seats
I've been wanting a new pair of bucket seats for quite a while in my '69 Chevy. All I have right now is a cheap pair I grabbed from the auto wreckers that was in decent shape. Last week one of my buddies decided he wants to sell the parts off his '01 Tiburon and sell the car to buy a boat. I managed to score a SWEET pair of racing seats from him for only $300, he paid a little over $600 for them. And they are in great condition. Now I can't wait to get them installed. My truck is painted metallic blue, so they should look HOT!!!!
Here are some pics of the new seats: Once this cold snap (-34 C, almost -50 C with the wind chill) here in Edmonton, Alberta passes I can go into the garage and work. Rip the old ones out, see how the mounting holes line up with these, and modify them to fit.

Re: New Seats
Those are pretty cool. Are you going to fabricate a center console? Get pics when you're done!

Re: New Seats
I managed to find a center console made by "Wolf Automotive" on E-Bay for $70 shipped. It's brand new and is covered in blue fabric. So it should look pretty good mounted between these seats!!
When I get everything installed and I have some free time, I'll take some pics and post them!!

Re: New Seats
Looks nice. I considered similar seats before going with a pair of Sierra seats. What about putting yours on a short swivel so you don't have to climb over those wings on the bottom every time you or your passenger gets in?
Post some pics when you're done. Congratulations.
