Hey all. Just curious what everyone uses for search parameter for our trucks on e-bay. Typing "(69,1969,70,1970) (gmc,chev*) (pickup,truck) is a little much, there must be an easier way.

start on eBays home page......click "eBay motors".......click "trucks"...........click "Chevrolet".......click "other trucks".
you can line them up from newest to oldest (or vise versa) by clicking on the blue "year" at the top of the "year" column.

Once you type in the phrase and search, click to save the search and run it again from your "my ebay page"

aw man! I should've thought you could save the search phrase. I guess an alternative to that would be to save the phrase in notepad or something and copy it into the search field on e-bay but that sounds a little complex too....

What phrases do you folks use?

BTW I tried the "other pickups" method but some people seem to leave the year for the message field of the auction. Also, I can't afford any more whole trucks...heh

When. searching for parts I use:

chevrolet truck
chevy truck
67-72 chevy truck
chevy/gmc trucks

i usually use the phrase "67 72 chev* truck" .....and it usually turns up 4-5 pages of stuff. The "*" at the end of Chev is called a wild card.....you will get search results for Chevy and Chevrolet using this......
