Headlight switch knob
Simple for you not so for me. How do I remove this the knob off of the switch? Also how do I go about removing teh oil pressure line from the gauge? Any info would be appreciated before I tear something up.
Thanks

Re: Headlight switch knob
You don't remove the knob from the switch. The knob and rod it's attached too both come out. There is a button on top of the headlight switch. You press the button and then pull the knob and rod out as a unit. You will need to reach your arm up under the dash to get to that little button. It's best to unhook the battery first. When you pull the knob/rod out you are turning the lights on.

Re: Headlight switch knob
Reach up behind the headlite switch & you can feel a small knob on the top. Push down on it as you pull the knob out of the switch. You may have to turn the lights on, then do the push-pull trick. The oil gauge has a fitting that needs to be unhooked. Its right on the back of the gauge & I think its a 3/8 or 7/16 wrench. Sorry, its been a while sinse I did mine & cant remember the exact details...

Re: Headlight switch knob
Knut is not 3/8 or 7/16 the knut on the line and the easiest to get out is 5/16 and requires a handstand to get it out.
