Sat pics (2-2) Dust, rust and the other.

Howdy guys and gals! I'm still out here doing what I can to keep some fresh pics coming for ya. We took a trip down to my Grandparents place today and had to haul a few items along with us. Nothing major, just had to move a push mower, a dresser and a Buttload of yard tools. I just like taking pics of it while it's loaded to prove that I do haul things besides coolers and folding chairs.

There's a lot of rusty old items lying around down there so I thought I might see if they would be good subjects for some pics. I don't know if they were or not, so I'll let you guys decide.

For sale: 72 grill shell...slightly tweaked. Cheap!

Hey, They left us a tank full of gas! Let's roll!

Grandaddy hooked me up with some fruit from the vinyard.

They fill this chest up with ice and drinks when we have get togethers out there.

Think it's still any good??

Cool pics. I would love to have the grill on that old chevy van hanging in my garage.

That "Greenbriar" Van should 'buff right out' .Sure would make a cooler people hauler than a minivan.

Re: Sat pics (2-2) Dust, rust and the other.

I drove one of those Greenbriar Corvans for two years after school & Saturdays while I was in high school, delivering for a flower shop. Great visibility, & surprisingly peppy. Same exact color as that one.

Boss finally gave up on it & traded it off.

Darn clutch kept going out for some mysterious unknown reason..........

Great pics as always! Those slugs look to me like they may have come out of an old Chevy stovebolt 6. That Corvair van would make a good project for somebody if they wanted to rescue it. It definately would be different as you don't see them around anymore. ...Joe

Great pics...and as always "Great Truck." I use to be into Corvairs...I owned a 66 Corsa Conv., but then I saw the light and got into our trucks. The Corvairs will never get into the ICON status like our trucks. IMHOhttp://www.sporttruck.com/techarticl...cks/index.html

Re: Sat pics (2-2) Dust, rust and the other.

Thanks fellas! Yes that's a Rhino Liner in the bed of the pickup. It serves the purpose but if I had it to do over I would probably go with a Line-X. I've also got all the tools to operate the tire machine. If I ever move to a bigger place I'll probably go get it just for conversations sake. I already have a good vise and I would like to have the anvil, but I hammer like lightning (never strike the same place twice) so I don't know if it would do me any good. My dad used to use the van for storage way back when, but some local thieves seem to have had their way with it. I need to empty it out and see if there is anything else worth saving. After that I'm probably going to pull the taillights, steering wheel, instrument cluster, emblems and grill and give the van away to anyone willing to come get it. I'd probably let em take as much scrap metal as they could stuff in it and on their trailer as well. That place really needs a good cleaning. (No the anvil and vise are not scrap metal ).

Very nice pictures as alway's. I know a friend of mine would love to have the old radio, not the car one. He is into tube radio's. He refinishes them up in Casher's NC.
Great pictures. It's amazing how we acumilate stuff and don't even know it.

It sucks not being able to hear!

LWB trucks rule, if you don't think so measure your SWB!
After talking to tech support at Air Lift I have found out that the kit I need is 60811. Per the measurements I gave them. Ride height of truck inside spring and inside diameter of springs.
