Crazy Idea!
I have a 1977 Chevy short bed truck with a 454.I also have a 2002 Silverado short bed truck.I wonder how different the frames are like the size and wheelbase. Is it possible to put my 77 body on my 2002 rolling chassis? Then put my big block in the new frame.Just a crazy idea. How cool would it be to put all my 2002 interior including the whole dash in my 77 cab.I'm sure it would be a ton of work, but would be cool.I might be getting a new truck soon,so I will have the other sitting around.I'm intrested to hear what you guys think.

Re: Crazy Idea!
I think If I was going to do that, I would keep the modern convenience of the fuel injected motor.

Re: Crazy Idea!
I thought about that to.Going from being able to light up the tires at any time to my little V6 would be tough. It would be cool having a nice fuel injected motor that gets descent gas mileage.Do you think it's even possible to put my 77 body on the 02 rolling chassis?I don't think I would have to Z the frame to get it to sit flat, plus I would have 6 lug hubs for the millions of wheels available for the newer Chevy's.The wheels are turning in my head.
