Look what followed me home
Couldn't resist, its a 67 1 ton that was used to hual grain to town. I'm supposingly the 3rd owner and this unit is suppose to have 27,000 orignal miles. Other than the passenger side rocker and surface rust its in good shape.

Nice find, how about waterproofing the back end and using it as a mobile swimming pool?....although it looks kinda cold for that outside, maybe run the exhaust through the bottom and have a hot tub LOL

Another one for the collection eh Bernie?? Looks to be is extremely nice shape!!! But I think you have to many projects on the go already, better send me that K5 and get it out of your way.
I found a 71 GMC 3/4 ton flatbed at Alexanders Auto Ranch that I wanted to follow me home. It has a 350/4spd with PS, PB and is complete. Just needs the heads done and the obvious body work. But I'm not so sure Shawna would like to have it sitting in the drive way. Here is a pic of it.

Hey bernie. You have to be running out of room! You could send your white or yellow one my way and I'll store it for you!(can't remember the years of them anymore, you have too damn many!) I'll make sure it doesn't feel lonely!

Do you mind if I ask how much you gave for it? There's a '69 1 ton near my house that's got an absolutely perfect grill on it, but the body is in worse shape than this '67 of yours. He wants $900, but in my opinion it's not worth $400.
It hasn't moved in 8 months from the spot it's sitting in - sales sign or not. I thought about geting it, and turning it into a flatbed for moving parts and stuff.

What a great find. 27k on a 67 farm truck is definitely possible.

1 ton
Hey, thanks for all the great replies. I'm in Calgary right now on a road trip. This pickup has a 283 4spd and if I replace it, Dubie is the lucky recipient of it (if he wants it) and yes shawna I should come and park one of my pickups at your place lol You haven't talked Tim into buying your own yet?
Burlinater, I plan using it just to haul junk around right now and hopefully look at putting a 6.2 or a 6.5 turbo diesel. Cobalt, I paid $1000. can. or $625. american for it. I didn't even need to hear it running for that price. The hoist needs to be fixed. My 15 year old thinks I bought it for her, lol couldn't believe she actually liked it.

Hey Bernie, do you mean the 283 and the 4 spd? or just the 4 spd itself?? I wouldn't mind that 283 at all if you are interested in trading or selling !! That is the engine i was searching for when I got the 350. Shoot me an e-mail with a price for the 283/4 spd combo buds.
And yes I found her a truck at Scotts super trucks in Penhold. It's a 70 short step that is 99% rust free and a 350/auto combo. She just needs to dig up $3500 to buy it.
