Re: Motorcycles?

LOL, I have a 2001 Honda 929 and it will fit in a 1999 Dodge Ram. Most full size trucks have 8ft beds and I guess if our 67's have the same size bed I say put it in there, worst case senerio you will have to turn the wheel one way and the tailgate will shut. My 1999 Ram and my 929 fit with the wheel straight and the gate barely fit but made for a safe trip with the bike. Oh, be safe with that bike. The 1k's are the fastest bike of its size in magazines and at 2 months on my first bike I was doing standup wheelies...lol...fun but one day could always be a off day. Its crazy, I knew a guy that was going around the 130 mark on a standup and he said he knew he was going down and kept riding it out till like 90 and off he went. He had shorts, short sleeves, and sandels. I never liked my leather jacket but I wear it and my gloves and I bet he wished he had his. It was funny when he told me, after I knew he was ok of course. He did say that he had to lay on his stomach for a few weeks...he words on the wreck were "It tore my A$$ up!". I bet 90mph would be hard on the butt. Good bike and good choice on year model truck...A+

Re: Motorcycles?

As long as you don’t have a toolbox or anything it should fit straight on. I’m not sure if the tailgate will close or not. If you put it in diagonal, be careful if you strap down with nylon straps. I had a sporbike in my bed like this and it caused the fork tubes to twist in the tree. It wasn’t a big deal, I took it in and the dealer realigned everything, no parts were damaged. In hindsight I probably had it pulled down too tight, but anyway, just a word of warning.
