speed cable...
Well since i got this truck i have slowly worked on it and it has been a blast, alot better than working on my 04 before it got stolen. I did the mod were u spray paint the iside of the cluster with chrome paint and it worked great! a definate must do for all of you.
Anyway, i reconnected the speed cable to the box in the engine compartment but the one leading out to the trans was cut, so my question is : is it hard to connect the cable at the trans or do i just leave it to my mechanic? |

Re: speed cable...
You painted the back of your cluster too? Even cleaning the dust out makes an improvement.
I did that on my truck last year sometime and replaced the bulbs. Makes a hell of a difference. You can tell the lights are on in the day time and can even dim them at night.
