Still have it, no hurry to sell it as I use it all the time as my 56 is just a cruiser and too pretty to do any work.

Re: How many crewcab & extended cabs

The crew looks real good. The square window frame on the front door makes it look correct/factory. I'd like to see it done, it already looks better than most I've seen.

I REALLY like that. Squaring off the door tops (or using a burb as the donor??) makes a huge difference in the appearance of the ex. cab windows, IMO. Very sharp truck. That should be one happy customer.

Was the glass not installed, or do the rear windows roll down???

Re: How many crewcab & extended cabs

I am thinking I might have put 2 and 2 together and know who 396SS is........and if Im right I bought my 68 frt clip from him and worked with him years and years ago.

if this is who i am thinking of I can tell you he does great work and had or still has a 71/72 converted long to short bed truck that rocks and also a 1970 SS 396 red chevelle. If its not who I am thinking I just made a fool of myself.LOL

I had a pretty stout 67 Impala street car he probably remembers well.

I'm not as far along as most these, but here's a few pictures of my 67 4 Door Crewcab. I built a new chassis with a 3/5 drop, 5.3/4L60E, front/rear sway bars, .... You can check the link in my signature for more details.

396 SS that blue truck is the perfect extended cab. If I had one that is exactly how I would want it done.
