Some new pics of Molly

Took some new pics on the parking garage roof today after work. G/f and I decided her name is Molly. I think it fits.

New pics include my semi fixed up grille - new headlights and headlight surrounds, and new 67-69 mirrors on it too. Not much else though.

Cool! I just put a brand new set of those 5" round mirror heads on my '69. It really cleans up the look doesn't?

Mine were from LMC truck.

Pretty reasonable price, IIRC, but the backing plates falling into the doors was an unexpected surprise.

Do they vibrate when you're going down the road? I have square one with long stems like that on my '70, and headlights look like fireworks because the mirrors vibrate so much. It's a C20 too.

They do a LITTLE bit. Very bearable. The old ones shook like Michael J Fox on a carnival ride.

I had the 5" X 7" rectangle mirrors and when I put 5" round mirrors it eliminated 98% of the vibration. I didn't change arms, just the heads. The three screws in the back of the rectangle mirrors are supposed to tighten them up, but I guess mine were just too worn out.

Re: Some new pics of Molly

Small update (and self bump...)

Molly has new amber bulbs and blew a headlight.

In other news, I think my old business partner might be owing me about 1500, so it sounds like Molly might have an 700r4 sooner than expected.

(Or, I can just pay off Molly - yes, I actually have a lien on her, if you can believe that!)

0% Interest and 250/mo for 12 mos was more bearable than pulling 3k from savings.
