I have made the desicion to drop my '76 Scottsdale with 2" coils and 2.5" spindles in the front and a flip kit and c-notch kit in the rear. If i am reading correctly, this should give me about a 4.5/6 drop, but i am questioning the rear drop due to the 1 ton leafs(9-leafs). I was wondering if any one has done a drop like this with these leafs and how it turned out. Also, in the front, will i have any rubbing issues with the setup i am lookin at? (will probably use all LMC parts, unless there is cheaper/better parts you all know of)

I think I have 9 leafs. My truck is more of a heavy half if they call them that in 85.
I got at leat 5 inches out of a flip kit from DJM. They say it is a 5". The notch was not required.

As far a a better price- Mine came from Stylin Concepts which I think is now Stylin Trucks.

I got DJM 3" spindles and the flip kit for like 320 I think

Summit has similar prices but their flip kit was on back order. I wanted it NOW! Summits shipping is always less too.

I deffineately know the feeling of wanting some thing for that truck NOW!!! I have been workin hard to get the truck back on the road, but i would dare say it is easier to do the flip,mufflers and so on, with the bed off so thats what im goin to do

and as always thanks for the help, if any one else has had good/bad experriances with these parts, i would like to know b4 i buy and assemble

The real problem I had was the leaf spring bolts. They would not come out with an air hammer. I wasn't going to destroy them.

I took the axles out of the rear, removed the backing plates. Then was able to get the rear end between the leafs and frame. Muscle it up there.
