Wow! I worry about the same thing when I take my vehicles in for service. I generally stand around with them and watch as they do the work.

I did like the style of that second forum. The black background and the smileys were cool!!

Did anyone over here register over there to give their condolences? Thread is closed now. I didn't see any posts from anyone here I don't think.

Man, that thread tore me up. I'm not much of a Ford fan, but I've always liked older Mustangs. If I found out someone slung around my '68 Fastback, or my '69 Chevy when I'm done with it, I think I'd loose it.

All you have to do is picture youself reading a thread where some snot-nosed low-jean wearing punk was abusing your truck, AND his dumb little buddies were egging him on, and you'd be ready to snatch up the .45 and the shovel, and hit the road to Tx.

I posted on one of the threads.....what a crock.....

My friend and I got a 40% discount on his shocks and struts because of a situation like that. We took his car (a 90 formula 'bird) into K-Mart, to have the work done. Well, little did they know, we were standing there when the idiot that test drove it was coming back in. All you hear is exhaust, and you see a lotta smoke.....as he roasted the tires in a big way. So...in the end, after my friend rose a stink about it, he got 40% off all the parts and labor....

Some service techs really are idiots.....but not all of them....
