If it only does it when your turning the float level adjustment in carb is the first thing that comes to mine. Not sure what else may cause that problem

I would also say float level is set too low. I would look there first.

Then if that's not it,look for a loose wire flopping around in the distrib (points type) or elsewhere in the ign. but probly the float or blocked fuel flow. Does it run good straight under full throtttle?

Havent tried it full throttle yet, I am in base housing and live across the street from an MP dont need that non sense. If i am in the driveway and i push the pedal all the was down it sounds fine

when you turn do you put your foot on the brake pedal? if your brake booster is losing vaccum it would cause it to stall.

It just need the adjustment I did a quarter turn on it and it runs like a champ sorta
