Well its paid for and shipper is picking it up Tues hopefully

I got the 72 swb fleet 4x4 bought in Elko, Nv. I hope the money gets there OK and the shipper gets the truck here OK now. Its not exactly what I was wanting but I think I can make it work. It doesn't have AC but the body work it needs is alot better than one I'll find around here. Its needs rockers, corners and one rear cab mount for sure. The paint doesn't look to be in the best shape, I'm going to try to wax it all up and hopefully it will look good enough to drive for a bit, so I can find a bodyman/painter to do it. There will be alot of changes done to it.
First I'll check it all out and make sure its driver quality for now
Then do the inside
Speed warning/tach setup
tilt steering column
Original AM-FM
72 TOWHOOKS
new speaker under dash
New 72 black seat cover
nice scroll black door panels
nice 3 person black seat belts
new dash pad
new carpet
new headliner trim
redone headliner
chrome 205 shifter
nice black visors
hand throttle installed
Thats most of the inside
Outside, will have
new front bumpers
33x12.50x15 tires and ralleys off my 67 for now
new rear sport bumper
new rear bumper brackets and gravel guards
Nice chrome mirror stands and new heads
UNder hood
will get nice air cleaner
oil filler tube
metal rad hose
I got some more stuff stashed out there I'll be putting on it, just can't remember it all
Here is one pic of it, there will be more when I get it here and start the work on it
THANKS to EVERYONE who was looking for me a truck I DO APPRECIATE it. I got alot of PM's from probably 20 different members looking for me. THANKS Randy

nice find on the 4x4
"the clay bar thing" check the surface when clean and dry with your hand to see if it feels and looks like normal paint i would clean up the body real well first. follow the instructions and all that stuff. my self it's best to be in a quiet shop, good lighting and microfiber towls on hand. i use a good mist of the detailer on the surface apx 2 sq ft at a time. use clay bar as per inst. here the part to master is the cleaning with the clay. the clay needs a fine film of detailer between the clay and the paint. the clay just has to glide over the paint surface, as it slides it sounds like sanding with sandpaper and you may have to add more detailer as you go. when you think it's ok to move the sound will have gone from the sanding sound to making no sound at all and repeat for the rest. wash and wax when your finished. i will use 1 to 2 spray bottles per car or truck. if you are working on a nice paint you might not hear to much of the sanding sounds so keep it moveing. this should give you good results. if the paint is rough you may be in for a wet sand and power polish to get the paint up to your standards before the clay bar. i had my 20 year old son wanting to do his car so i cut him loose with the clay bar. the big thing was to get him to slow down and listen to the clay bar, his finished job was very good. the bar is to respected on the auto as improper use will screw a likewise good paint job. heres a linkhttp://www.autogeek.net/motcalgolcla.html good luck. 463
