Sat pics (3-1) After dark duo

I actually shot these in the same location that I shot the daylight pics last week. Brian was wanting to get his lil truck out and shoot some pics with his new camera as well. So, Brian will be adding pics he shot to this post to share with you guys as well. The ones I'm posting are the ones that I shot. Most of these were shot with my newer camera that doesn't really do that well after dark......But we gave it a shot!

On to some pics!

I hope you guys like em! I'll see what I can do about getting a couple of these tinted and back up tomorrow!

Awesome shots... The green really stands out in that light... Cool scenery too. You truly have an eye for finding the right "backdrop".

Asa seeing as how you take most of your pics after hours near businesses and such do you ever get stopped by the law wondering just what is going on there? Just like the pics above, in the alley between old buildings I would think you would come into contact with some "shady" characters in those type places too.

Great pics guys! Definitely different than the norm.

Hey Asa, do you have any pics of your engine compartment? I think I've seen every other angle of your truck, aside from the see-through photos.

Cool pics. I also was thinking this looked like a good place to get shanked.

See ten your pics are great as always and 71see10 it looks like you're gonna be the next see ten when it comes to taking pics. Is it just me or do those pics have that very Matrix look to them with that green tint? I also agree, that looks like the kinda place you could get jumped, hope you guys are careful when taking these pictures.

Hey see ten I've been wondering if you would start a photo thread that you could show us newb cakes a few tricks... I've got the camera but there is obviously some after dark skill involved. Did you like double expose the same frame for the double truck shot? if so how?

Re: Sat pics (3-1) After dark duo

Thanks guys!

Those modified shots look pretty sweet! Thanks for those friend!

So far I haven't had a problem with any of the LEOs but we never know what tomorrow is going to bring! I haven't ever really had any concern for the areas I've been working.....(but maybe I should have). As of yet I haven't been to concerned with being accosted, molested or protested.

I do have a couple pics of the engine compartments of the trucks but I don't feel that they are really a strong point of the trucks. I'm anti-bling when it comes to the underhood treatment of my rides. They're both pretty much stock with the addition of Vintage Air. I might see if I can come up with a way to work some underhood shots in for you guys.

I'm always up for trying to help others to make their pics better but I'll be honest with ya.....I think I'm just lucky. The thing about shooting after dark is your going to have to slow down your shutter speed a bit. Once you find a speed that presents you with an acceptable image you're home! Of course with the slower speed you're going to have to stabilize the camera. A tripod will be your friend in this situation. All of these pics were shot with point and shoot cameras. There aren't any double exposure shots here but the first image at the top is a panoramic picture.

Thanks again guys!
