Re: Dash Pad Removal

Remove the dash bezel first. Then remove the 3 or so screws from the bottom passenger side of the dash pad. You will then be able to pull the dash pad up & out. That's pretty much all there is to it.

Welcome to the board.

Does the dash bezel snap in and out?

Re: Dash Pad Removal

No, there are 12 screws holding the bezel in and 4 holding the pad on.

have you thought about a molded dash cap you can get it for a round a hundred bucks, but if the tabs for trim are missing and the screw holes are broke then I would look for a good used one in salvage yard

Re: Dash Pad Removal

all dash pads are kinda on the expensive side you can try the catalogues and our site vendors. There are carpet covers you can put on too and coverlays id check em all out the only other alternative is to keep searching your local boneyards or in the classifieds. Sometimes youll find one on Ebay but there its buyer beware... I can honestly say ive only had one bad deal here and the guy who did that was years ago and is long gone. Anyone else ive dealt with here has been completely honest and described things so that when i got the item it was better than described

Hi Chris ,

Question, I found a dah pad available in different colors on some site ( maybe chevy classic parts or something) for around 260.00, says it replaces oem . Do you know anything about these aftermarket oem replacements.
Would rather buy from site supporters
Also looking for white face guages to fit in stock bezel , headliner, seat covers. etc . Any help appreciated.

Do you have to be site supporter to buy / I know you have to be site vender to sell

Re: Dash Pad Removal

I have those, they aren't that bad for the 81-91's The 73-80 ones are pathetic though. I have them for $215 + shipping. I can send you some pictures of them if you email my webmaster account.

I don't have bezels as of yet,
I do have headliners and seat covers. bigblock73 got some from me (buckets seats he posted)

I don't discriminate if you are asking if you can buy from me...

You can order the white face overlays from www.whitegauges.net for $20.00 + shipping.
I've got them on mine.
