exhaust system
hi im looking to buy a exhaust kit for my truck.currently theres a 327 in but its gettting replaced with a 406 i have on the stand atm.lmc has a dual kit that bolts to the factory manifold, but im going to use headers.my question is can i still use the lmc kit and cut off the pipes and weld on flanges so i can use the headers.thanks.

Yup. Just cut the headpipes where they are going to meet up with your headers, weld, enjoy!

I just helped my friend do this on his S-10 with a 383 SBC. It is not that hard and we are not even good welders. Lots of grinding to make the welds look good but it looks and sounds awesome now.
