Re: Looking for some good BLUE lockouts for a half ton 4x4

I've had 3-4 good sets of these but sold them, I never thought I'd need them.
I'm wanting original ones, since the truck is mostly original
Thanks Randy

Re: Looking for some good BLUE lockouts for a half ton 4x4

I have a set of the blue anodized ones I got from Blackbirds 4x4(not for sale) they are very very nice and well worth the money $150 shipped contact Dnks2mny. I have a set that are OK not broken or really scarred up but they are faded out. If you are interested I will get some pics- I have not taken them out yet- for you to see, maybe we can trade on something? Harold

Re: Looking for some good BLUE lockouts for a half ton 4x4

Dang Randy, I just sold a set of NOS ones. I know I have some behind the shop but still havent been able to get back there to look.

I believe the ones Blackbirds sells are only for the 3/4 ton Spicer.

They don't have to be perfect, just blue and not real scared up.
Harold, sure I'd like to see some pics. Trading is Great!!
Rob, I was wondering if you had any in all that stuff I sold you, I couldn't remember. I may need some rings for them too, I never really looked at mine real good yet.
Livrat, let me know what you find
Thanks guys, Randy

Re: Looking for some good BLUE lockouts for a half ton 4x4

Randy, I have not made it to the shop over the weekend.. but I do have one real nice one on a Blazer in the yard and three that are okay. (faded somewhat and you can see where someone used pliers to turn them).. I know I have 4 or 5 sets at the shop already off and cleaned.. so if you have not come up with a set let me know
Mark

Re: Looking for some good BLUE lockouts for a half ton 4x4

Hey Randy, I just got done restoring a set of these. Krylon makes that fusion plastic paint in a royal blue color, and it is pretty much spot on with the back side of my blue dials. I painted mine with it after prepping and then sprayed with a satin clear coat. Oh, and also painted the pointers. Anyway, they look amazing now and it should last awhile with the clear coat. Trevor
