On your dash up where the speaker is, is it painted flat black or glossy black. I'm changing the color of my white 72's interior from blue to black, the upper dash is painted blue now and I'm going to change it to black just wanting to know what original is flat or glossy? Thanks Randy

I agree, flat black. Whats it worth to not call your wife and tell on you???

I was so glad to get away from the ex! I used to hide cars...trucks...money....and so on from her!

I think it supposed to be like a semi gloss...flat I think would be too dull.

Thanks guys, actually my wife doesn't say much about my trucks, heck I've bought 40 trucks with about 20 other trailer loads of parts at one time before, 23 trucks another, 13 trucks once, ten once and eight one other time, not to say all the single trucks I've hauled in. I hid the blazer from her for a week and she never said anything. She accepts what I'm doing pretty well

Flat, if you use gloss you won't be able to see out the windshield on a sunny day

I'm told it was a "matte black" finish, not much different but it doesn't reflect sunlight.

Thanks guys, its sad to say for as many of these trucks that I've parted, I never really paid attention to it.
Eric, your not the first to say that but I figured you would give me a hard time about that. She asked me one time why I was the only one who had a key and the code to the alarm in MY building!!!

Its going to be a few days till I do the interior I was just wanting to know this before. Pics of it will be up Sunday evening, its not much but its original.

i used SEM trim black for mine. it has just enough sheen that it will still clean up well
