Moved to Texas

Well guys I moved to Texas from SoCal, but my baby is still in Socal. Does anyone know of a reputable cheap transport company, that would be able to bring her out. I cant drive it right now, it has a blown engine, and if I don't get her out here I'm going to have to sell her.

Re: Moved to Texas

I have used these guys in the past, but can't honestly tell you how much I paid. The vehicle got to its destination safely without any sort of damage, so they did well there.

I think most places will give you a free quote and many of them do it online, so search for "auto shippers", or something similar and start punching in addresses. Where in Texas did you move? I moved from SoCal to the Dallas area about 9 years ago.

Re: Moved to Texas

Welcome to SA, one of the guys in SAIL (San Antonio Impala Lovers, car club I'm in) has pretty much the same story. His truck runs though so shipping was easier, he is willing to sell it if you decide you want another I can let him know. Haven't actually seen it because he is busy most of the time and I don't run into him too often but he said he's done a ton of work to it.

Re: Moved to Texas

Every good weathered Friday night there is a gathering at Biff Buzby's off of 35 and Topperwein. I go there when I have a vehicle to bring but mine is under serious construction right now and don't feel like taking up space with a daily driver.

Just got pictures of the truck, he wants $3500 for it. Has a bunch of new parts but it needs body work/paint though I don't think it has rust on it. If anyone wants it let me know, I'll get you his info.
