few questions(drivetrain related)

What is the procedure for installing rocker arms, adjustment before startup and after. Also if anyone has a auto linkage picture id appreciate it if you posted it. Mine was in pieces from the p/o and i have no clue how to put it back together. Last question, is it advisable to sand a coat headers. The ones i have have severe surface rust and im afraid if i dont do anything about it it will eat a hole right in them.

On the rockers http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=219649

Can't help you on the auto linkage, as I am using aftermarker on mine.

As far as the coated headers, I have some Hooker Super Comp coated ones that are starting to rust on the bottom areas of the collectors. I plan on sanding them down and then putting on a coat of Eastwoods exhaust paint. I was going to have them recoated, but not for $250.00.

The link was for 8 cylinders - are 6s the same way, just alternate intake and exhausts? Sorry Beren, not trying to jump on your post but thought it good info - I too need the pics as I'm going to auto in the future.
